Arrived in Vienna, after going through a pretty exhausting trip. With a friendly bus driver and still want to try to communicate with us in English although it is a mediocre * please, 15 minutes pause ….* and also always attention by asking if the amount we are all complete. a hospitality that is not dibuat2. From within and also a job business guide amid tough competition.

Vienna, the first impression is a clean city, modern but not eliminates the remnants of its past glory. Like a grandmother who was very old with the appearance of old-fashioned but still want to accept modernism in several parts of his body. It’s adequate transportation system to mess with. Metro subway and streetcar makes us no trouble to move from one corner to another corner of town. Our 24-hour ticket purchased at the machine and it applies to both types of vehicle. It’s really easy. We can choose to not have a ticket, but with a very high fine of course if caught. Examination is extremely rare. We may not have a ticket for it. But we choose to follow the law as Austrian citizen’s gives us a good example.

Wombat’s hostel we were looking for by using the metro subway, with a little difficulty reading maps and fatigue in some people to lift bags substantial burden. Hostel is pretty good, especially if I compare with the previous hostel. With the condition that bathroom cleaner, we began the first day in this city…. bath! We were so happy because her bathroom does not share with others and was in the room. In Vienna we parted with Mimi who was at home in Prague.
Vienna, 05.00 pm

Trip in Vienna at the beginning to the Schoenbrunn Palace. UNESCO World Heritage List at the end of 1996. There are Christmas market as well as in Prague. Not much that we saw in there because his palace was also closed to the public on this Christmas day. Little sorry can not see the beautiful garden behind the palace with the famous maze. From Schoenbrunn we continue the journey to the center of town. Starting from St. Stephan’s cathedral which was one of Vienna city icon. * as you go around a corner, the cathedral suddenly comes into view. Like a mountain, it is simple and wonderful; its sheer beauty lifts the spirit. Stifter Adalbert (1805-1868) * located in the center of town, amid shopping centers with the artistic bangunan2 not leave the past bentuk2 with today’s icon2 like Armani, MC Donald’s, Dior, and other brand2. the prices here higher than in Prague and even Dutch. Community income levels high enough to be one cause. I set the budget a little trouble here.

Vienna, 09.00 am
Second day in Vienna, starting with the Belvedere. The Gallery Belvedere is one of the world-famous museums. Located in the Belvedere palace that is owned by Prince Eugene of Savoy. There are two parts of the palace of the Upper and Lower Belvedere. The Upper Belvedere was a collection of 19th and 20th centuries and the Lower Belvedere is the Museum of Medieval Art and the Baroque Museum. Two buildings connected by a Baroque garden is very beautiful. Winter does not diminish the beauty of the park. My camera is not even enough to record the beauty of the place. Really “amazing”. We continue the journey to the Danube canal and the UNO city which is the center of several organizations joined in the UN. Travel continues to Heldenplatz (square of the heroes), the Neue Hofburg (new fortress), the parliament building which was built between 1874 and 1883 by Theophil Hansen, Rathaus palace and many more.

We also back in the hunt for souvenirs here * we did a tour souvenir reply my term and also tours with a form of photography * standard * that has plates, glasses and we had a little teman2nya * terkaget2 also at a price different from Prague. But the value of a souvenir sometimes beat the rationality of a price and quality. And we went back to buy up so much. I also broke three dishes that I bought because of negligence opened a troublesome glove that. There was a sense of regret, especially when I pay for the plate a second time * there is a problem with money?

Vienna Westbanhoff, 09.30 am
The train that took us to Salzburg. After a bit frantic search for missing Sadath the tiba2 when the train left for 2 minutes. He just laughed at this panic. Panic is not over. On the train we still have to go find a seat, which again does not have the numbers because we do not make reservation in advance.

Trip to Salzburg was impressive. Very beautiful scenery. All white with snow. Again reminds me of the novel or cerita2 movie about winter in Europe. Austria is not Dutch. The topography is hillier, making the scene even more impressive. Mountains with snow on top of increasing the lovely atmosphere.

Salzburg, 01.30 pm
Arrived in Salzburg. a small town, but amazing. Mozart’s hometown, the genius composer’s. Every corner of the city is much nuanced poster2 Mozart concerts ranging from classical music to brown Mozartkugeln extremely famous. Salzburg is also famous for its beautiful mountains, the Hohe Tauern, and also as a city the sound of music, a famous musicals of all time who took the set in some corner of the city of Salzburg and until now used as one part of interest to tourists.

we stayed in st sebastian institute which is part of St. Sebastian church. a place to stay very quiet. But its location is along a crowded street by Linzergasse stores. also unique because the reception staff is only open from 9-12 and 16-21 hours. We arrived at 14.00 to wait 2 hours to get into the room. we use the waiting period for around berjalan2 hostel. Our hostel is right under the hill a very beautiful stone. It’s remaining snow on the hill as the snow last night and added to the beauty of the hill. Around the church complex is also a cemetery where several families of Mozart buried here.

Arriving at Narita, the security system of Narita is extraordinary tight. Once you arrive at the counter of a stranger’s arrival, airport officials ask many questions, including where you will be staying while in Japan. Inspection of goods is also very strict and troublesome.

All luggages were unloaded. Vegetables, livestock and goods, according to Japanese government regulations are not allowed to enter without official permission. Communication on the examination is also very problematic because none of the existing officers understand English. As a result, all should be done with body language dialogue.

In Narita, jackets and belts should also be removed. If the metal detector still ringing, the officers will be checking back iron and the like that are still stuck in the body, then we sent back through the metal detector. You will be able to pass the examination room after all the items in checked bags, one by one. And in the corner over there, people were busy resetting the belt and insert objects into original pocket.

Narita is a representation of the sophistication and regularity of Japan. Luxury and facilities are complete and well maintained. Check-in area is stretching as far as the eye could see. It is neatly arranged, with attention to the human flow that can be exploded beyond measure. Once inside, the atmosphere was like at the mall with shops and boutiques selling luxury goods. It is so beautiful and comfortable. The rest room is very clean with well maintained facilities, as if in a five star hotel.

At the corners of the waiting room is available for each type bins: paper, plastic, cans and bottles. The tradition of putting the elderly, disabled, pregnant women and infant carriers is clearly visible from a special pew in the forefront. About technology, Narita is the expert. Tickets issued at the airport are much different from in most other airports. The paper is good, equipped with a Quick Response Code (QR Code). If the tickets are usually delivered and then torn down before the officers entered the plane, at Narita, ticket was entered through a ticket reader machine. No more lip service here, because of stringent checks are performed at the entrance and exit the airport.

Along with ten of my friends, I visited ten Prague or Prague in Czechoslovakia (Czech Republic) in the winter at the end of 2008. With a limited budget, we try to be backpacker travelers in countries that have not been trodden before, even in the information only get from friends and internet chat (the magic of e-media). From the city of Arnhem in the Netherlands, we started the trip with Eurolines bus service is fairly inexpensive. The journey began at 10:30 that night and the city of Arnhem is the last stopover before the bus left the Netherlands. It’s not a luxury bus, too.
From the Netherlands to the Czech Republic, we passed the German advance. Although a bit dark, I can still see the snow falling gently accompany our journey. In the morning, we were still in Germany and the snow come down with swift. Arriving at the Czech border, all our passports and visas checked by border guards in the face of a very cool. Maybe was affected by pouring snow at night. Czech it feels colder than the Netherlands, It’s look like temperature was below 0 degrees Celsius.

Arriving in Prague, we exchanged the euro currency in Czech crowns, as well as purchase tickets to Vienna in the next few days. Czech Republic does have a standard of living lower than in other European countries. This makes some relative prices far cheaper, especially food and drink.

From the bus station, armed with maps that are owned, we walked into the Apple Hostel before we messages (again) through the Internet. A youth hostel is small but clean. Shaped hostel room dormitory where in one room consists of more than 4 beds. It’s a common form of lodging in Europe. One thing that shocked me was the open bathroom. Oriental nature (which thankfully is still there) finally made me choose a shower in the morning once.

Wenceslas square after lunch at a fast food restaurant is famous throughout the world; we begin exploration in Prague at the New Town. By using the tram and the ticket one day, we go to Wenceslas Square and National Museum. Wenceslas square is the area of Prague’s famous shopping area. Admiration clicking sound out of his mouth is to see a row of shops with beautiful architecture, classic, and combined with a series of icons of modernism and consumerism.

This beautiful building row ends with a National Museum which was so magnificent and architecturally fascinating buildings. This museum contains a collection of pre artifacts from history period, rocks minerals and petrology, paleontology, zoology and anthropology. This museum has a collection of rock that is complete with an interesting shape and I’ve never met before. The rocks from the bowels of the earth have style, color and different textures. Some even like the treasures that exist in a fairy tale.

Weather Clock cold astronomical makes lunch so short. We decided to go back to the hotel and rest until evening. While looking for dinner, we headed to old town square, the other glory of Prague. This is the heart of this city the past. Buildings consists of many famous historical, such as The Orloj (Astronomical Clock), Old Town Hall, The Church of Our Lady before Tyn, the Baroque Church of St.. Nicholas, The Rococo Kinsky Palace and The Fourteenth-century Bell Stone House. Astronomical clock show itself at certain hours. The sound of bells and small statues that came out of it makes me determined to wait until the needle points to the length of 12 digits.

At that time also coincided with the Christmas market which makes the atmosphere more festive. Many stalls show typical food and drink Prague, also Christmas ornament and other ornaments. Wine feel warm Prague can be a choice in that atmosphere. Night air temperature reaches -14 degrees Celsius. Not surprisingly, I felt was in the refrigerator freezer.

The journey begins with the second day Charles visit the famous bridge, a bridge that became a symbol of the city of Prague. With the twin towers at both ends, this bridge connects the two parts of the city of Prague is divided by the river Vltava. Only the admiration that came out to see the results of human civilization at that time. Along the bridge there are also many traders’ paintings and photographs that try to offer or sell their expertise. But be careful fooled, some of them were sold paintings seemingly printout similar to the painting / picture of the hand.

After guard castle over a bridge with the sun bright enough but bone-biting cold, we entered the Prague Castle which was more surprising anymore. It’s great world cultural heritage. There are two guards on either side of the gate, with a very cold face and look straight ahead. Even when we took a picture beside, they would not budge. At that date December 24, the day before Christmas, unfortunately a lot of museums in Prague Castle closed to the public. I finally more enjoy the exterior of these buildings. A photographic tour is very satisfying.

Prague is amazing. On the way out or back to the hostel was, I still found many relics of the past buildings with European architecture everywhere. A symbol of the grandeur of the past are still there that makes me like the past thrown in Europe. Beyond the fact that the city is a bit dirty, especially in the outskirts of town, so unfortunately if you do not menyambanginya. Especially if you have chance to visit Eastern Europe.

But unfortunately, terrorism and other events make us a bit difficult to obtain entry visas. Many requirements must be met to be able to visit this country.
