Skiing in ski centres is just not the same as on the real slopes. Nothing can replace the views in the French Alps and the sound of the real snow under your skies.
When booking your group ski holiday or family ski holiday, it’s important to check the weather and the webcam before going there, see galleries, look it up on Google, check the restaurants you’ll be going to and photos of the Chalet you’ll be staying at. This way you will avoid the disappointment when getting there.
If it’s your first ski holiday, remember to look up some guides about skiing and exactly what you need to take, professional clothing is extremely important, you don’t want to be going down the slopes at 40 miles per hour in your jumper and a leather jacket, you might reach the bottom of the slope as a big ice cone.
If you’re not booking a group ski holiday, or an all inclusive ski holiday, you have to remember about many more things, such as location of your Chalet, ski transfers, the extra costs of food and ski passes, there is a lot more planning involved and to be honest, if you want to really enjoy it, just book with a travel agent that will make you an all inclusive deal.
